ABOUT US

AGING AND DISABILITY ARE UNFORTUNATE PARTS OF LIFE THAT AFFECT ALL FAMILIES. AS OUR LOVED ONES GROW OLDER, THEIR DAY TO DAY LIVES CAN BECOME MORE DIFFICULT, AND IN TURN, CARE BECOMES MORE EXTENSIVE. THERE MAY COME A TIME THAT LONG-TERM CARE, OR PERHAPS EVEN FULL-TIME HOME CARE WILL BE NEEDED. THIS CAN CAUSE EXTREME FINANCIAL PRESSURE, BUT THERE ARE OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST WITH THIS...

Medicaid Eligibility Consulting specializes in Medicaid assistance. We know the “ins and outs” of applying for federal and state sponsored medical assistance programs. We will assist you in becoming eligible to receive your benefits, to give you and your family peace of mind, both emotionally and financially.

Medicaid is a state issued medical assistance program designed to help pay for necessary healthcare costs for individuals living at home, in assisted living, senior communities, and nursing homes. However, there is a specific criteria which must be met to be eligible for this program.

Applying for these benefits can be very challenging, and extremely overwhelming. You must strictly adhere to numerous and sometimes confusing rules, regulations, and language. This is the reason we are here. We are capable of assisting you every step of the way to be sure you are educated, and fully understand state Medicaid policy, enabling you to get the proper care for yourself, or your loved ones.

“My family was fortunate enough to have Amy Fletcher representing us and handling our father’s Medicaid application. We knew virtually nothing about this process; even to the point of not even knowing which questions to ask. Ms. Fletcher was able to explain the application process and describe which legal forms we needed to provide in a manner that even the most inexperienced applicant could understand. I cannot stress enough how inexperienced and uninformed we were about the entire manner. Our lack of knowledge was compounded by my father’s declining health throughout the length of the appeal. In short, it was a very stressful and uncertain time for our family. Ms. Fletcher showed an extraordinary amount of patience and empathy with our family as we struggled to find all the necessary documentation and tried to understand the reasoning behind certain requirements.  We ended up being granted the Medicaid coverage, and simply could not have done so either by ourselves or with any other representative or advocate. I will absolutely recommend Amy Fletcher to anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves in our family’s position. She is incredibly nice, patient, empathetic, & most of all; competent.”

“As our mother aged and grew more frail, we were faced with making very hard decisions. We realized she could no longer stay at home and needed to find a place to help take care of her. This decision was put on us when we found her on the floor one day and had to have her taken to the hospital. At this point we realized she needed to have 24 hour care, seven days a week. This led us to the decision to place her in a nursing home.

This is also when we were told we were going to need to apply for Medicaid to help pay for the facility. We were at a total loss on how to handle this. Someone referred us to Amy Fletcher. It was the best advice that we could have ever received. She has been a godsend! There is no way we could have accomplished this without her help. She has led us through every step of the process.

Amy’s experience with the Medicaid process is vast. Amy represented and advised us on every aspect of how to handle everything, and all of the paperwork and forms that we would be needing. We feel like this made our mother’s chances for approval more favorable as well. She pushed this process through for us, to make it much speedier than it would have been on our own. To tell you the truth, I don’t think we could have done it without her. Her knowledge is immense and you could not meet a nicer person to work with to handle your loved ones application and help you through this difficult time. She took so much of the stress off of us. We are so thankful to her for helping us get our mother approved for the Medicaid for the nursing home.

Thank you so much Amy!”

“When tragedy struck so unexpectedly putting my uncle in the hospital, then rehabilitation to gain strength, he was discharged from the home.  My uncle is legally blind amongst a few other health issues and has had some type of in-home care, coupled with weakness and inability to do things on his own would make it a difficult situation for the caretakers and him.  I knew he needed round-the-clock care, but it was an expense we could not afford.  He was again sent to the hospital with sepsis and I knew then he would not be able to return home and live on his own.  Once he was discharged to a rehabilitation center, Medicare covered the expense for a brief period which partly was due to an appeal.  I expressed concern to the nursing home's office staff about what my next step should be and how to keep him there permanently. They recommended Amy Fletcher (Medicaid Consultant) to assist with our situation.

Amy and I spoke, and right away she put me at ease with her calm demeanor, guidance, reassurance, and resources that my uncle would qualify for Medicaid by using strategies to help us, as she had done for others.  That was when I hired her to take on the Medicaid application and qualification process.

Medicaid would have told me to spend his extra assets on his care, but Amy and through the guidance of her Elderly Lawyer’s partner used an approach that allowed us to keep some assets.

This process isn’t simple, there’s lots of paperwork needed, and the time and effort it takes can be very overwhelming at times. Amy was there to bring my focus back to our goal, getting the long-term care my uncle needed.  When your loved one has a few assets which they want to pass down to the family, you feel that heavy burden, a hopeless feeling, worrying how that could be accomplished and get them the care they desperately need!  Amy Fletcher was my solution, she gave me hope that allowed me to concentrate on what was truly important, My uncle, my family, and spending time with them.”
